Aims
To teach clients to drive safely, legally and with confidence.
To reach the standard required to apply for and pass a driving test with an official examiner.
The Instructor Will:
Ensure that all driving lessons conform to the DVSA recommendations.
Adhere to the DVSA code of conduct at all times.
Act in a professional manner.
Ensure that the training vehicle is appropriately insured, including public liability cover.
Ensure that the training vehicle is fitted with dual controls, roadworthy, taxed, clean and tidy and has a current MOT if applicable.
Enforce a strict no smoking policy.
Ensure that there is no discrimination against race, colour, creed, gender or sexual orientation.
Keep the app client progress records up to date.
Client Responsibilities
Fees will be agreed when you sign up to lessons and be signed for by you before the lessons commence.
Adhere to a strict no smoking policy.
Payments made by bank transfer at least 48 hours before the lesson start time, unless otherwise agreed.
Any pre-paid block of lessons will have to be used within 6 months unless otherwise agreed and a reasonable completion date will be agreed.
Cancellation of Lessons
The instructor is entitled to charge you for the cost of a lesson if you give less than 48 hours notice.
If the instructor cancels a lesson due to illness, holidays, severe traffic, mechanical issues or a change in another clients test, then a replacement lesson will be arranged.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of the vehicle for driving tests or lessons If the client appears unfit to drive; being significantly unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, this may include medically prescribed drugs.
The clients driving ability is deemed by the instructor to be below the standard required for a driving test. If the client is not likely to reach the required threshold in the time available, they will be notified before the cancellation date ensuring sufficient time to cancel or change their test date.
If fees remain outstanding.
The instructor will not offer a refund on block bookings unless zero hours has been used or no lessons have taken place within a 3 month period and if some hours have been taken, these hours will be charged at the full standard rate.
Pass Photos
You give permission for your photo to be uploaded to social media unless otherwise agreed.
Test Day Fees
Automatic: £160
Manual: £160
Price includes pre-test lesson, drive to test centre, use of vehicle during the practical test, post-test debrief and return journey home.
Payment must be made at least 48 hours before test day.
